| "Shelley presented two workshops this
year for our kindergarten class: "The Reservoir in Winter"
and "Creatures of the Night". Shelley was prepared,
knowledgeable, and engaged the students with animal puppets
and other interesting props. The workshops enhanced our science
curriculum by extending concepts already learned and presenting
new material. The students looked forward to the workshops
and actively participated in the discussions and activities
led by Shelley. They can't wait for Shelley to come back and
visit!" |
"Shelley kept my 3 year olds engaged and
interested and was very organized! The Beach Creature program
is wonderful and worthwhile and was enjoyed by both students
and teachers.

"Mrs. Volk's Seashore Program was excellent.
She shared some very interesting information with the
children. The plastic models of the crab, lobster, sea horse
and sea star, plus some actual examples gave the students the
opportunity to learn about the creatures' body parts by actually
seeing them. The students were actively engaged and learned
a lot. The experience was very enriching."
